Position the console near a power outlet to route cables through the rear wire-management grommets, and leave a few inches of clearance on each side for ventilation if you store heat-generating electronics inside the glass cabinets. Each drawer is sanded, stained, and sealed to protect contents from dust and moisture -- a level of finish work typically reserved for bedroom furniture. The two sliding glass doors with adjustable shelves let you customize storage for components of varying heights, and the wire-management grommets in both the media bay and the glass cabinets keep power cords and HDMI cables routed cleanly out of sight.

Frequently Asked Questions

How wide should a TV stand be for a 65-inch TV?

A 65-inch television typically measures 57 inches wide, so a stand at least 60 inches wide provides a stable base -- the Cane Bay's 66-inch width offers an additional safety margin.

What is the difference between a TV stand and a media console?

A TV stand is any surface that elevates a television, while a media console includes enclosed storage such as drawers, cabinets, and wire management for components and accessories.

How tall should a TV stand be for comfortable viewing?

For seated viewing, the center of your screen should rest 24 to 30 inches off the floor so it sits at eye level; the Cane Bay stands 34 inches tall.

How deep should a media console be to hold a TV and soundbar?

A 16- to 20-inch depth accommodates most televisions and soundbars without tipping hazards; the Cane Bay measures 20 inches deep.

Does the Cane Bay console arrive assembled?

Yes, assembly is not required -- the console ships fully assembled and ready to use with free curbside delivery to the continental USA; white-glove in-room placement and setup are available upon request for an additional fee.

How do I care for a white wood entertainment console?

Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, and wipe spills immediately with a damp (not wet) cloth; avoid ammonia-based cleaners that can yellow white finishes over time.

Questions about sizing or finish?
