The Aalto 86.5-inch Teak Deep Outdoor Couch transforms any patio or deck into a comfortable gathering spot with premium-grade teak construction and fade-resistant Sunbrella cushions. An outdoor sofa is a weather-ready seating piece designed to withstand sun, rain, and temperature swings while providing multi-person comfort -- this model seats three adults and combines sturdy slat design with deep cushioning for long entertaining sessions. The Aalto 86.5-inch Teak Deep Outdoor Couch Sunbrella Cushion is available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping, built by HiTeak from responsibly sourced teak that naturally resists insects and moisture while aging to a soft silvery patina over time.
This teak outdoor couch anchors spacious patios, covered porches, or poolside lounging areas where durability and low maintenance matter most. The 17.5-inch seat depth offers plenty of room to lean back, while the slatted construction prevents water from collecting on rainy days -- the wood is kiln-dried to resist cracking and the natural oils in teak repel insects without chemical treatment. Pair it with pieces from our outdoor accent chairs collection for flexible conversation groupings, or browse the full outdoor furniture range to complete your open-air living room with matching coffee tables and side pieces.
Teak outdoor sofas thrive in any climate -- the wood's natural silica content and tight grain make it highly resistant to warping, even in humid coastal air or dry desert heat. You can leave this sofa outdoors year-round in most regions; the Sunbrella cushions resist fading from UV exposure and can be stored indoors during prolonged winter storms if desired. Browse our outdoor replacement cushions to refresh the look down the road, and explore outdoor sofas and loveseats for additional seating styles that match the same rugged, low-maintenance appeal.
Good fit for a wide deck
The Grade-A FSC-certified teak frame and Sunbrella cushions make it an easy match for an open deck; it's styled in an industrial way that works with metal and concrete elements. Slatted drainage in the seat and backrest seems useful for quick dry times after storms.
True three-person outdoor sofa
The 86-inch three-person capacity makes it feel like a real living-room-style sofa for a sunroom or screened porch. Sunbrella cushions mean you don't have to worry as much about fading from sun exposure.
Fine piece, different expectation Aalto 86
The item is well made overall, but the finish has more natural variation than I expected from the online photos. It also felt a bit heavier than planned for, so we had to rethink where it would go.
Handsome but a bit heavy to move
The Grade-A teak frame and marine-grade stainless steel hardware look robust, though that also means it might be heavy if you want to rearrange it often. The slatted drainage design is a nice detail, but expect a little work to move it solo.
Durable teak for a covered porch
Grade-A FSC-certified teak looks like it will hold up on a covered porch, and the marine-grade stainless steel hardware is a sensible touch for outdoor use. Would pair well with outdoor rugs and lamps.
