Product details
This narrow walnut bookcase stands 78 inches tall on a 32-inch-wide footprint, delivering serious vertical storage without blocking light or overwhelming a tight corner. A bookcase is a freestanding furniture piece with horizontal shelves designed to hold books, framed art, pottery, and collected objects; open bookcases like this one have no doors or backs, creating a lighter, more sculptural display than enclosed cabinets. The Palmetto Home Curations Bookcase with five fixed shelves is available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping. Cut-out side panels between each shelf create an architectural, mid-century feel that suits entryways, reading corners, and home offices where you need accessible storage without visual weight, and the piece arrives fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box.

Why Choose an Open-Frame Bookcase from Sideboards and Things?
The sculptural open frame lets light pass through the piece, making it feel architectural and airy rather than solid and heavy -- perfect beside a reading chair where you want storage that doesn't block the view. At 14 inches deep, the shelves provide enough room to layer framed art in front of stacked books for a curated, collected look, and the brown walnut finish showcases natural wood grain for warmth and organic texture. Pair it with other bookcases to create a gallery wall effect, or place it near display cabinets and credenzas for a cohesive home library or living room focal point that balances open and enclosed storage.
