The frames are crafted with attention to longevity; corner-blocked, glued & stapled kiln-dried hardwood and hardwood plywood bear the weight of the exposed legs and bases. Sinuous springs keep the seat and back cushions plush. For a soft yet supportive feel, the seat cushions are crafted of high-resiliency, high-density polyurethane foam. A down and feather envelope is available for an added plush feel on the seat. The back pillows come filled with a mix of supportive and soft fiber. For fabrics, down, feather, and fiber back pillows are available, but not for leather, as it is deemed too uncomfortable.
