This cream lacquer console table with gold detailing brings understated elegance and clean geometric lines to your entryway or living room. The Chatsworth Wood Made Console Table available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping features a distinctive Z-shape profile and stepped silhouette designed by Elizabeth Wicker, offering a refined accent for narrow spaces. A console table is a slim, multi-purpose surface piece typically placed against a wall in entryways, hallways, or behind sofas to provide display area and functional storage without occupying deep floor space.
The slim 14-inch depth makes this piece ideal for placement behind a sofa or along a hallway wall where deeper furniture would intrude on traffic flow. Its 65-inch width provides generous surface area for decorative displays -- art objects, framed photos, potted plants, or a curated stack of coffee table books -- while the flat top stays easy to style and clean. The cream lacquer and gold accents coordinate beautifully with pieces from our console tables and coffee tables collections, allowing you to build a cohesive look across your living areas.
The Z-shape construction adds architectural interest without overwhelming your decor, functioning as both a practical surface and a sculptural element. This design works particularly well in modern and transitional interiors where clean lines and neutral palettes prevail. Pair it with metallic accents or warm wood tones found in our dining table sets or bar height tables to create visual harmony throughout your home, and the 43-pound build ensures sturdy support for everyday use.
Good choice for narrow spaces
The slim profile makes it a sensible pick for a tight spot between a console and a wall, and the engineered wood with lacquer finish keeps the look modern. It would work well in a hallway, behind a couch, or as a display table in a small dining area.
Gold edging adds a nice touch
The gold accents along the lacquer finish bring warmth to a modern dining or living room setup. The Geometric Z-Shaped Sled Base looks intentional and helps the piece read like a focal console rather than just a table.
Bright option for an entry area
The high-gloss lacquer surface is easy to clean, which is handy in an entry area where things get set down quickly. The cream lacquer finish and subtle gold edging add a bit of warmth without being over the top.
Practical for a home office console
The cream lacquer finish with gold accents brightens a workspace and the high-gloss lacquer surface wipes clean of dust and smudges. The geometric base keeps the floor area feeling open so a chair can tuck in close.
Great fit for a narrow hallway Chatsworth Wood Console Table 2
I can see this working well in a tight hallway since the 14-inch depth keeps traffic clear. The cream lacquer finish with gold accents helps bounce light into the space and is easy to wipe clean.
