The Josephson Wooden Rectangular Console Table combines practical entryway storage with traditional craftsmanship in solid acacia wood. A console table is a narrow, rectangular piece designed for hallways, foyers, and living spaces where floor space is limited but storage and display are essential. This Sarreid piece features a warm walnut finish, four small drawers with aged bronze knobs, and a lower display shelf -- available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping. Built from durable acacia wood, the Josephson delivers lasting function in a compact footprint that fits corridors, behind sofas, or beneath windows, offering both hidden and open storage for everyday essentials and decorative accents.
The 60-inch length and 12-inch depth make the Josephson ideal for narrow entryways where keys, mail, and sunglasses need a dedicated drop zone without blocking traffic flow. In the living room, position it behind a sofa to hold lamps and frames, or along a hallway wall paired with a mirror above. The four drawers conceal clutter while the lower shelf displays baskets, books, or a decorative tray, bringing both organization and visual interest to console tables in high-traffic areas. Pair it with pieces from our coffee tables and dining table sets collections to create a cohesive, storage-smart layout throughout your home.
Acacia wood is prized for its natural hardness, resistance to wear, and rich grain patterns that deepen over time, ensuring the Josephson withstands daily use in busy entryways and family spaces. The walnut finish highlights the wood's character while protecting the polished surface from minor scratches, and the 95-pound heft provides stability when drawers are opened or items are placed on the top and shelf. Aged bronze hardware adds corrosion resistance and a tactile, vintage detail that complements the traditional silhouette, making this console a long-term anchor piece in your home.
Well-made but a bit heavy to move Josephson Wooden Rectangular Console Table 2
The reclaimed acacia wood construction feels durable and the warm walnut finish is attractive, but the console is noticeably heavy to move around because of the dense wood. The four functional drawers and open shelf are useful for organizing everyday items though.
Entryway organizer with useful drawers
Works well in an entryway since the four functional drawers keep keys, mail, and sunglasses out of sight. The reclaimed acacia wood and warm walnut finish give it a solid, lived-in look that hides daily wear.
Hallway piece that hides clutter
A good choice for a hallway where you need quick storage for dog leashes and mail; the small drawers are sized well for those items. The warm walnut finish helps resist scuffs and the open lower shelf balances the hidden storage.
Good fit behind a sofa Josephson Wooden Rectangular Console Table 2
At about 60 inches long it fits neatly behind a sofa without crowding the room, and the open lower shelf is great for baskets of magazines. The tapered legs keep the profile light while the reclaimed acacia wood adds visible grain and character.
Living room display and storage combo
The open lower shelf provides a nice place for books and a couple of plants, while the four small drawers hide remotes and chargers. The warm walnut finish brings out the distinctive grain patterns in the reclaimed acacia wood.
