Transform your patio or garden into a relaxing retreat with a statement seating piece built for comfort and durability. An outdoor hanging chair is a suspended seat designed to swing gently while providing a cocoon-like perch -- ideal for reading, lounging, or enjoying the breeze -- and this White Pod Rattan and Aluminum Hanging Chair available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping delivers that experience in a weather-resistant, modern silhouette. With its intricately woven poly rattan wrapped around a powder-coated aluminum frame and a plush, dacron-filled cushion, this chair brings boutique resort style to any outdoor living space.
This chair pairs beautifully with outdoor lounge seating on a covered porch or beneath a sturdy pergola, instantly creating a focal point that invites conversation and relaxation. The poly rattan resists UV fading and moisture, while the powder-coated aluminum frame stands up to sun, rain, and humidity without rust. Pair it with coordinating outdoor accent chairs or dining chairs nearby to anchor a complete outdoor room where guests will want to linger long after sunset.
Nice look, one small caveat
The synthetic rattan has a relaxed boho vibe that works well over an indoor porch or sunroom, and the included rope is long enough to reach most ceiling beams. It's a touch heavy to move around and needed a bit of effort during setup, so factor that in.
Good for sunroom or patio
Synthetic rattan weave gives natural texture without the fuss and it won't crack or fade in sun-exposed spots. The 200-inch hanging rope also makes it easy to fit high vaulted ceilings.
Cozy reading nook chair
The pod-style cocoon design really creates a private spot for reading or quiet calls on a covered porch. The included Dacron-filled white outdoor-grade cushion keeps its loft and feels comfortable for long sessions.
Roomy but compact footprint
At about 53" H the chair fits well in a corner without overwhelming the room, and the curved, enclosed pod design gives a real sense of privacy. The white cushion is outdoor-grade Dacron so it stays puffier than foam in humid weather.
