The Roche Geometric Shaped Console Table delivers nature-inspired artistry through its hand-carved palm motifs and elegant half-moon silhouette. The Roche Geometric Shaped Console Table is a wood console table from Wildwood available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping. Console tables are narrow tables designed to fit against walls in hallways, entryways, and living rooms, providing both display surface and decorative impact. This piece pairs a striking black top with a white and cream carved base, creating visual contrast that works across traditional and transitional interiors.
Position this console in your entryway to greet guests with its sculptural palm design and contrasting color palette, or use it in a hallway where its narrow 14.5-inch depth makes efficient use of limited space. The 36-inch height and half-moon shape work beautifully behind console tables in living rooms, paired with artwork or mirrors above. Good backdrop for decorative pieces
The contrasting black top surface provides a dark backdrop that should make ceramics and photos stand out, and it should also help hide fingerprints between cleanings. Pairing the carved wood base with lighter decor would create a relaxed contemporary coastal vibe in a dining or living area.
Handy for a home office
The curved semicircular silhouette would work great as a soft backdrop in a home office and saves visual space compared with a full rectangular table. The carved wood base gives it character while the wood top stays practical for small stacks of books or a lamp.
Nice behind an apartment sofa
The half-moon sculptural shape would soften the straight lines behind an apartment-sized sofa and add a little organic flow. The carved wood base gives it some presence, so it doesn't look too light for a living area.
Good quality, slow arrival Roche Console
The piece itself is fine and works in the room, but it took longer to arrive than I expected. The color also reads a little different in our lighting than it did on the computer screen.
Fits narrow hallways well
This console seems well suited to a narrow hallway the compact width keeps it from feeling bulky. I like the contrasting black top surface for staging a couple of lamps, and the carved wood base adds texture without being over the top.
