Built from solid mango wood with a burnished hand-distressed finish and sealed with water-resistant lacquer, this reclaimed wood bed frame brings durable craftsmanship and rustic character to your bedroom. A bed frame is the foundation structure that supports your mattress, often featuring a headboard, footboard, and rail system designed for stability and style. The Sunburst Reclaimed Wood Bed Frame available at Sideboards and Things with free shipping delivers both structural integrity and striking visual detail through its handcrafted pinwheel sunburst pattern. Whether you're furnishing a master suite or guest room, this frame pairs function with distinctive woodwork that makes it a standout piece in any bedroom furniture collection.
The solid case construction and interlocking rail-and-slat system provide long-lasting stability, while additional strips and circles of wood create the distinctive 2D sunburst pattern on the tall headboard. Each piece reflects the natural grain, knots, and color variations inherent to reclaimed mango wood, ensuring no two frames are identical. This frame works beautifully in king size and queen size bedrooms, anchoring the space with handcrafted detail and rustic warmth. The water-resistant lacquer seal helps protect the wood in various climates, while the heavy-duty slat support eliminates the need for a box spring.
Beautiful design, some assembly effort
The hand-distressed burnished finish and pinwheel wood pattern look great in a vacation rental, but the new and reclaimed mango wood frame is heavier than expected so moving it required two people. Assembly was doable but a bit fiddly, so allow extra time when setting it up.
Tall headboard works in our loft
At 84-inch height the tall statement headboard becomes the room's focal point and helps define the sleeping area in an open loft. The reclaimed mango wood and burnished finish pair well with other rustic pieces we already have.
Warm farmhouse look for master bedroom
The new and reclaimed mango wood gives the bedroom a warm, lived-in feeling, and the hand-distressed burnished finish sealed with water-resistant lacquer looks durable. The tall headboard really grounds the space without feeling overly ornate.
Nice option for a guest room
The interlocking rail and slat system is handy since you don't need a box spring, which keeps the guest room setup simple. I also appreciate the 2D Jarelle Pinwheel Pattern on the headboard it adds farmhouse charm without being fussy.
